Very Happy with the result - tried something totally different for the 1st game
Didn't play my strongest team by far (looking to the long season)
Left both my star strikers on the bench and they both come on after half time and score late on
Down to 10 men after 14 mins (played my lowest aggression ever - after seeing the league cup) but this must be a random thing as we got another red card early doors anyway
Rangers lost their keeper as well - (injury) so the game was evened up a bit ...
Gazza will probably feel a bit hard done by ....
But a couple of other nice results puts Santos level pegging with Madrid ...
Going to both Rangers & Ajax away and getting results will play a massive part of the final league positions I think ...

This was a match I hoped to sneak a point in, but the loss of my main keeper and replacing him with a skill 20 keeper had me holding my head in my hands, then Santos lost a defender to a red card, as the game progressed it looked as though we could get that point, but the quality shone through and Santos got the goals and victory they probably deserved.
A good overall performance and a lot of positives to take from the match, the defence looks good, the midfield are doing their jobs, and Aquafresca looks hungry for goals again.
On a plus note Buffon isn't injured, just a minor knock, so hopefull we can dust ourselves down and take something from Bayern next week !!

Not the start we were looking for.
Always tough to take when a last minute goal costs you.
The 1-0 scoreline would have probably been deserved but I'm sure Malky will say, he hoped/expected to score against our 27 rated keeper for just short of an hour.
It's sure a point gained for Liverpool but how much has this dented any title hopes we had?

Should have lost this match hands down, beaten by quality In all departments, had Bayern scored that all important second goal it would have been game over, but as John says when you lose your keeper and its 1-0 you've still got a chance, fortunately for us that chance came in the 90th minute, so both relegation favourites get a point in week one from two championship contenders while Real Madrid win, that's how tight this title race is going to be, no room for error, have Munich and Hearts had there wake up call?
