The league is already taking on a familiar look.
Real proving they will have far too much firepower for most, although Liverpool were always in the game until their keeper got sent off late on. Just shows how luck can play a big part. I was unlucky to get my keeper injured last week, and allow Liverpool to nick a point. Where as Liverpool had a late keeper sending off, which put paid to any possibility of the same happening. Similar games with differing outcomes, which could be massive come the end of the season.
On to my game and what a game it was, I've decided to be the entertainers this season and to win in style and the proof was there today. Hats off to Gazza he came and played and can count himself unlucky not to take something from the game. At 2-0 down he would have been fearing the worse but then at 2-2 and 3-3 it could have went either way.
A draw would have been a fair result but if I want to push Ahmed, these are must win games. It's nice to see my players sitting top in the performing charts and that is an area I'm focused on winning, and closing the gap on Ahmed's superstars.
I need to have a chat with Pom on how he gets his keeper having so much shots at him year on year.
I also need to have a look at my defence, as I expected going into this campaign I think we're short of one quality defender to help the likes of Tudgay, Sweeper and Lavezzi step up in class.

Cracking game, seven goal thriller, my team acquitted themselves well, we dominated the middle of the park as we often do, we created many chances, but was a bit of an off day for Aquafresca who would normally bury a few of his chances,
Bayern came to play football and attacked from the off which made for a very open game, so hats off to Johns team for not holding anything back, this game shows that Rangers with their best team on the park can compete with great teams, we just have to start taking points which may involve more cagey tactics, dunno if I can bring myself to play more defensively, I love to play for goals and ability points.
Up next in the league are Real Madrid, have a feeling we can upset the applecart against the undisputed champions, nobody will expect anything other than a heavy defeat for Rangers, maybe just wishful thinking on my part though !

Very hard start to the season, Bayern, Madrid then Hearts, but then again having the weakest squad every match is going to be tough! If you told me we would have 1 point from the opening two matches we would have bitten your hand off! Thought we did not too bad against the league champions and happy to have scored a goal, keeper injured for next week's FA Cup match but Werder have around the same skilled keeper so there may be goals, another good point for Everton, but Santos FC won't be happy losing two valuable points at home in a match they would have thought was straight forward! Great match in Germany, nice to see Gazza sticking to his philosophy and continuing to play his way! And Hearts get a win on the board away to Ajax who have yet to hit form
Good week lads!

Great match and good performance for my boy, maybe Liverpool look the weakest team but for sure Malky did great job with them for the last three season and they are the only team could do a damage to any dream to be the champion, 6 point in two matches makes me more relaxing when I play the hardest match against Hearts or Bayern, so I should win all the matches till week 5 and score more goals when I could,

I like the fact that you assume you will win all your matches till week five, these comment will go up on the Ibrox changing room wall, we are fired up for your visit in match 3 , aggression will be upped and the lads will be taking no prisoners, this game is a cup final now !! The pressure of being the champions is on you mate, it's up to us small teams to knock you right off your pedestal, I admire your confidence. The very best of luck to you this season mate, hope I have picked you up correctly, either way it makes for good banter

As long as they back up there words, something John was always good at! Might see a couple of 631D's now to try and stop Madrid! But yes there are some very good smaller clubs in Elite with good managers who still have a big part to play in this championship

Sorry if my post look dismissive as you said, all the managers doing great job and I respect them all, it is not easy to rebuild a team and the bad luck will affect anybody like you said, What I meant Liverpool look the weakest team for sure but he is the hardest team to take the point from compare with anybody else and for sure any team could do that even team from Div3 they prove that, by beating the big boy as Lyon did two seasons ago, I don’t assume I will win the next two matches; it is just how I talk about the future and wishing for, and when I talk about Hearts or Bayern that because I am sure they could win the league as I could, each one have the similar chance, Yes I have the confidence about my team, it takes me many seasons to rebuild and improve it, and I think I did well, So good luck to you and to all, hope will be enjoyable season to every one my friends

Good to see Ahmed starting to talk like a winner, something I think he possibly lacked until winning the title. As Malky said it's soemthing I was always big on, talking the talk and wlaking the walk.
Being at the top never gets as easier and teams will look to stop you playing and restricting chances, which stops abs and the odd 0-0's let the pack back in, this is the challenge I had for years and needed a RVN to get through. Ahmed looks like he has the guns to fire his way through any challenge, and only time will tell for sure.
Loooking forward to the development of the elite.
