Celtic win comfortably in top of the table clash with TottenhamMatch Statistics ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Celtic FC | Tottenham Attempts on Goal : 20 | 8 Off target : 4 | 2 On target : 16 | 6 Possession : 63 | 37 Corners : 3 | 3 Red Cards : 0 | 0 Yellow Cards : 0 | 0 Subs Used : 3 | 3 Fouls : 8 | 7 Key Tackles : 8 | 11 Key Passes : 21 | 10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Final Score : Celtic FC 3 - 1 Tottenham ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm glad we got straight back to winning ways after the disappointing performance in the cup last week so I decided to try and take advantage of our strength in midfield as I knew that's where the game would be won or lost this week. I also didn't want to play such an open game as we've been letting in too many goals and for the most part we kept Spurs at bay. We should have got the clean sheet we deserved but a silly mistake by Howedes gifted Spurs a goal they didn't really look like getting. Phisbaena and McGowan both got a goal a piece again this week, the two youngsters are starting to develop a great understanding and partnership which is encouraging for the future of the club. Up next is a midweek game against non league Bordeaux so we'll be looking to continue this good form.
