Massive win for Gers this week, great 3 points, we nicked the goal and decided to hold out for as long as we could, but as the game developed we more than matched Ajax and as the stats show we deserved the victory. This game gives us a little breathing space with the crunch matches against Liverpool and Everton coming up, three points in either of the next two games could be enough, we are the masters of our own destiny now. Well done Bayern on blitzing Real Madrid on their own ground, and wow Hearts crushing Santos was a bit of a shocker this week, exciting stuff at the top and bottom

We set out to go 1-0 then go defensive as 3 points would have been massive for us, we couldnt have asked for a better start than going 1-0 up in the 1st minute!!! changed to D and hoped for the best,
you never really think your going to go ahead in the first minute so maybe changing to D right away was the wrong choice but to lose two goals in the last two minutes has destroyed out chances of staying up now! big big blow and it really is a bridge too far now, we would have to win against Rangers FC next week then hope Everton can win away to Rangers FC while we beat Santos FC away from home!!
not going to happen so its Division One for Liverpool next season...bye bye Elite League

Crucial win for Bayern. Real were favourites this season, but rely on Bayern slipping up now. Bayern are on a great winning streak. Looking at the player performance table you may find Real's reason for failure and why Bayern sit top. Only two points in it and two games to go, anything could happen.

Always seem to have one of these matches a season - completely even game and get dicked comprehensively

Agree with Bryn,
had a look at the play tables and Real Madrid really have fallen short when it comes to shooting and scoring goals, i think most of us looked at Madrid four forwards and took it they would score for fun but while Bayern Munich have H_Postiga on 119 shots and R_v_Nistelroy (hts) on 86, Real's rotational system has meant J_T_Gavilán sits in 6th place with only 58 shots!!!
the same player ended last season with 120 shots and 20 goals
Real are also falling short behind Bayern Santos FC and Hearts in Passes Assits and Player Performances, with keeper L_Mulen coming in at 10th best at the moment!
so do Real Madrid really deserve to win the Elite League This Season?
on form and player stats the answer is no, the squad is good enough.....is the manager?

What a win for my guys, got to go down as one of our greatest ever. I never even expected to win, let alone totally dominate the current champions, who have not lost at home for a long time, possibly since we beat them last year. It's certainly a place we enjoy going to it seems.
I would have been happy coming away with a point and hoping Hearts or even Everton done me a favour. As it stands I am now slight favourites but Hearts and Ajax are capable of taking points off me, so it's far from over. Four points from our remaining 2 fixtures should be enough to see us be crowned as champions once again.
This season has been unbelievable since our slow start and as folks have mentioned we sit high in the player stats section in all areas. Ahmed is finding out that when you are the best the game gets harder as teams play for a point and try to stop you, which even if they don't limits and slows down the progression of players.
Rangers took a huge step to safety, Everton probably need something against Real to be still with a shout come week 14, Liverpool I'm afraid look doomed.

For what it's worth I still have a feeling Ahmed will pull it off.
Hearts are the only team to beat me this season and Ajax the only other team to beat Madrid, so they are toughies.
My saving grace, is Ahmed has to go to Edinburgh , so I'm hoping Daniel can do us a favour there.
Hearts are still very much in the title race, 2 wins for them and I fail to beat Ajax and they will be crowned champions, what a turn around that would be and not that much of a longshot.
Is this the best Elite title race in history with 3 teams still going for it and all playing each other in the final 3 weeks??
