Great result for Santos - managed to kerb RVN - quite enjoying using the new younger squad for Santos - playing more of a squad game rather than the best 11 (depth is there without the highly rated players) ...
It seems it's "always on a knife edge" between getting it right or wrong ...
But I think I have got the squad playing very well after the changes it took a few matches to get over the teething problems but very happy at the moment and looking forward to the whole squad developing ...

Pummelled Bayern, had all the stats and deserved the win, lucky point in the end for Johns lot The usual tale of my strikers not having enough to punish a very good keeper, had Van Nistelroy been a Rangers player I reckon we would have had a simple win. Pleased with my performance, team are playing well, just need a win or two to lift us up the league and out of trouble. Well done John, you gotta be pleased with a point at home to Rangers

Tactics worked again for us with C_Nade scoring first then trying to see it out, it wont work most of the time but hopefully we gather enough points to see us safe from the drop!
its all about scoring that first goal, and with a 28 rated forward it gives us that chance!
delighted with a point!

That'll teach me to leave my team sheet til the death when on an all dayer in the pub. As Gazza kinda says they edged it. Although probably didn't do enough to grab the win but we need to be beating minnows like Rangers on our own patch to have any chance of the title.
Raggett has been handed a warning for drunken team selection and tactics, could this be the beginning of the end for the greatest manager of all time.

Very pleased to come back after going down one early on and losing a defender after only 21min. We stuck to our guns and played E trying to make use of Tabata and Essien in midfield. Great success in the end as they created 19 chances four our attack. Pele was a bit lonely up front, so the cup will see him pairing up with Hunt again.
