A sound home win for us, job done by half time and we decided to shut up shop. With SP switching to C, the second half was never going to be very lively. Nice to be up to 2nd spot but it's early days yet.
Bit of a shocker to see City hammered so badly - yes they were outplayed, but you wouldn't expect Hart to ship 6 against a lone 23 rated striker. Scott on the wrong end of another freak result... and maybe Tone's triple skill project is coming to fruition at last.
Sunderland take it to the Bridge with a 90th minute equaliser at Chelsea, both teams playing 3 up front so plenty of action. A good effort by PSG at Villa but yet again it was the Great Dane keeping the home side in the match with 14 saves. No debut for O_Bosingwa yet though - but he's another reason to expect Villa to finish in the top 3. A crucial win for pace setters Schalke in the six pointer in Madrid, the Germans' superior midfield controlling the game. I think we might see Atletico start to fade now. And United took advantage of two Dortmund red cards to take the points in Germany.

Well, I knew Tone would play 1 up front, and my team was generally better, so decided to take a risk and go two up top and A.
Paid off handsomely :/ Bryn probably gets better results with his 11 rated defenders ffs.
Really not sure what to do, I know a lot fo the time what I am going to be facing, but still get whooped.

Yes Scott I think you should be rightly bemused by that result but I guess you have to take it on the chin, or some other bodily part. However I do think that if Tone's only playing one up front you need to match him - his extra half body (AM) in midfield gave him more possession and 16 chances to your 6. If he's playing one up front, maybe the risk you take is only 3 at the back, and put in an extra MF? Or it might just be that all those secondaries are doing some good after all - his DFs picked up a lot of Kps.

I cant really complain about the loss, the stats suggest I deserved to lose.
Its more frustration at myself, same as the last game I knew I would face 433A and still lost.
I need a gk, and see no way of getting one at all, other than buy a yth and wait 6-8 seasons for him to reach 30+ rated...
