Tricky opponents, a team certainly to watch out for in the future. Yes, we should win it at a canter but we'll have to be on our game and Aberdeen will do their best to cause an upset. Expect it to be tight we need to be patient and take the chances when they come.
Their weakness, only the step up in class (hopefully).

We have come close against Bayern in the past, but there truly is a gulf in class between the squads and it would take a miraculous upset for us to win this. Last week we handed out a 5-0 drubbing to a team only a little weaker than ours, so this time we could easily be on the wrong end of a similar scoreline. They say Bayern are not the team they once were, but the numbers look scary in all positions. Having said all that... the Red Army will be out in force and we will be doing our best to cause an upset!

Facing Hearts for the second time this week. We came out on top comfortably in the league, but this will be a different game, I'm sure. They'll be looking to build on their second half performance in our last game.

Few big ties already in this early round, the biggest for me Madrid v Ajax. I fancied Maundy to have a really good season having brought in a lot of experienced quality to his side but if JM loses this game then their season is over. So will Postiga go out with a bang in his final season or will the giants go marching on as expected.

really tough game here, not got a good record in the cups in the past so hoping to turn it round this season, going to be tough getting past a team like Marseille though

We love a cup run in Lyon and this is a winnable game, although Roma have a strong side. Banks in goal will be tough to beat but we might be able to nick it away from home. Stefano will need to be on too form and take his chances when they come.

Ajax seem to have most of their luck away from home this season, but you'd imagine Real to be favourites with their exceptional squad.
