A sound home win for us, perhaps a bit to conservative to put the brakes on as soon as we went 2-0, and got a late scare when they pulled one back. But better safe than sorry, good to have points in the bag.
Some great results for us, with Villa and Schalke dropping points. Newcastle keep up the pressure, too. Great wins for SP and City, the Brazilians starting to creep up into the promotion race.

Nice to get a win and nice for Dyer to get some decent shots on target for his eos bonus.
Im still experimenting, learnt a big lesson the past few weeks regarding Dyer, one I have always known too, but let my mind slip when sheeting. That wont happen again.
My youth defenders are coming along nicely, they will be a real force to contend with in the future that's for sure. Negredo keeps scoring in that league too, shame he will never escape it really.
Still forever on the prowl for a keeper, but even the one extra skill point in signing Shilton seems to be helping, 1 goal conceded from 16 shots is a vast improvement.
I wont tempt fate by saying I think I am finally getting somewhere... haha
