Another new set up for Rangers, tried 5 at the back, eek !!
Seemed to serve me well, actually bagged a few goals this week as well ! , lads played well and we had the 3 points cruelly snatched away right at the end.
Think we can hold our heads high, Porto should be happy with the point looking at the performances of both teams, van the man kept at bay was a major factor.
Real Madrid slip up again !

Very pleased with a solid away performance against Inter. We are able to maintain our pressure on Bayern and Real which is great considering where we found ourselves five or six league games ago.

Really good win for our guys, taking advantage of Ajax's poor home form.
We thoroughly deserved our win and played as well as have done against Elite opposition this season. Modric once again proving what a valuable player to have. Scoring within a minute of coming off the bench and put the tie to bed.
The league is getting really tight with one of any 3 looking at the title (no offence Malky). I'm going to put my neck on the line and say a new club will be crowned Elite league champions this season. Yes I believe Bryn has the squad and certainly first 11 to steam past me and Ahmed and clinch his first major trophy.

Also what a game the Real Valencia game was end to end. Fair play to Andie going toe to toe with the galatico's for 90 minutes. Thought setting up playing A with 3 up top was a death wish but they matched Ahmed's stars right til the end.

Looking at the fixtures at the start of the season I kind of wrote off playing away to Inter, home to Santos and away to both Real and Bayern. Sitting with 7 points out of 3 of those games is massive for us!
Took a big gamble playing the way we did against Real Madrid especially away from home, but we already wrote the game off and I think it was worth the gamble as Ahmed wouldn't of expected us to have a Real go at his star studded team. So will definately take the point any day of the week against Elites top side.
Next up is Bayern (the joys eh) I think now John knows anything is possible? So need to be a lot more carefull in our approach to this one, resting a few plaers midweek, so hopefully we have fresh legs to keep the mighty Munich at bay!

Very happy with our win, tried a new formation at home due to our three strong midfielders now, and with a 28 forward it's really been a great season for Liverpool, good to see us control the match with Everton playing A against our normal C
