With us approaching the half way stage, I thought I'd get an idea who folks think will land the holy grail. It's looking like it could be one of the closest in history, with 4 clubs still with a few points of each other.
Surely Liverpool will tail off??
Madrid have the depth in their squad to last the distance but they can not get rid of the chasing pack, will this cost them??
Are Barca the new big force, can they break up the big two and win their first major trophy??
Or will Elite's greatest club come up trumps again??
Surely no one else can go unbeaten and cause the biggest surprise in Elite history?

Never write Bayern off and Barcelona have all the tools in the box to do it, but in all Honesty Real Madrid should streak away soon with that quality squad.

Just done a tally up of the 3 big players in the league and there is not much in it at all, no surprise Madrid being the strongest of course.
I know we don't line up with a standard 4-4-2 but that's always the best comparison to use. I've not used secondaries and then you have Madrid's subs bench which is worth a mention of course.
Munich Barca Madrid Gk 39 39 39 Def 112 104 117 Mid 129 130 123 Att 57 62 66
Tot 298 296 304
Looking at that I'd say me and Bryn pretty much cancel each other out, although their secondaries in midfield gives them an edge in that area.
We both would need to focus on the midfield when coming up against Madrid.
Massive game coming up when Barca travel to Madrid, as they have said they have been failing against the big guns, if they can stop the rot in that game, they may just have enough in the tank to do it.
I think me and Bryn have one more home game than Ahmed.

I think Real are definitely favourites with Bayern number two. We have a couple of key fixtures coming up against Real and Bayern in the next couple of weeks.mif we can produce some good results there, we'll be right in the mix. A positive so far is that we're doing better than Bayern and Real against all the other teams, but we've failed to get anything from those two. We're hoping to strengthen our team further if we feel the opportunity is there. Hopefully we'll be able to compete.

Thought I saw a certain midfielder on the auction page briefly for 200 million before being removed, any truth in that?
