Really want to hear FC Porto managers reaction to this weeks result! He seems to think this Porto side of his has the right to win every match just cause he has RVN!
maybe if he played him up front on his own and most chances fell to him then they would win more games,
Is this result really so hilarious off the back of a draw to Rangers FC and loosing to Everton?
Liverpool have beaten Ajax, Rangers, Valencia, Bayern Munich, Everton and now FC Porto
plus draws with Barcelona and Santos FC

Liverpool having a great season and Malky doing a great job out of the squad he has (which must be the worst ratings wise in the league)

Well played Glyn. We're obviously disappointed to have lost at home, but hats off to Santos for getting their tactics spot on and deservedly winning.

What a week for our boys. Both our main rivals dropping points and ourselves coming through a tough encounter against a well organised and promising Valencia side.
When will Liverpool become serious title contenders? It's not lie it's a shock 2 seasons ago they were in a similar position. So maybe that experience could be key as we move into the 2nd half of the season.
Back to our game Valencia set up in a more traditional and safer way than expected and it nearly paid off. If it wasn't for their tough tackling approach they would have got something. But after getting away with a dead cert of a pen. We went out in 5 he 2nd half looking for one. The ref thankfully caved in and Valencia lost their heads and with sending off, came the winner from the legendary Modric. Is he the best sub in the game. 4/5 seasons he's been coming off the bench to bang in crucial goals.

Great comeback from Rangers, played a risky 4-3-3 as i want to get as much game time as i can for my two young forwards, went 2-0 down and thought oh dear here we go again.... cricket score !! Inter had the tactics spot on and pressed the whole game, to be fair they were the better team. My team are playing well, just need them to start skilling up a level, a few have already stepped up and look better for it. Reckon the season after next we should see the real Rangers i have been building.
Bayern surge to the top as Real become the masters of their own destruction!
Liverpool.... Wtf malky !! What you feeding them lads ! What a run mate, title is up for grabs buddy !

Another bad week for us, it is look like there is no easy game any more Your right Ahmed. All teams in this league more than capable of taking at least a point of any team. The season would normally be in its final stages but with the new format so much is still possible. A team in the middle of the league that went on a streak and win all 11 games in the run in would be looking at a title shot. The transfer market could well be key.

All gone a bit quiet in the top flight! Ajax? FC Porto? Everton? Santos FC?
again really looking forward to the 2nd half of the season, we have punched way above our weight this season, like John said we have been trying this tactic for a number of seasons now and it seemed to work in season 17 also when we came 5th but didnt expect it to work so well this season, i think cause ive added D when 1-0 up has got us more results, which is good for points on the board but not for abs
what can we expect from the Elite League in the 2nd half of the season?
what we do know is there will be top top matches every week, the pressure on Real Madrid and Bayern Munich must be unbearable at times, id hate to be these guys knowing a few slip ups means possibly handing the title to your greatest rival
im sure we all agree these two are the big two in EFL! they need to try and keep one step ahead of each over in the transfer market and will always be looking ahead for the next big star to add to there teams
but now Barcelona are not far behind and will a bit of luck and form could split these two
id still expect us to finish behind Santos FC who are rebuilding for the future but ive always had a soft spot for them and find it hard to see them not challenging at the top
on form id still say Rangers FC, Everton & Inter Milan will be the bottom three, but that could all change with a couple of wins, for me every point is crucial and if i was the boss of any of these three clubs id be thinking the same with 11 games to go!

Goated John a little bit before the game, hoping he would come out all guns blazing! Which he did! lol Played well enough but the sending off for us was a massive game changer and Bayern took the points.
If I'm honest, I'm not disapointed that we lost. 2-1 defeat AWAY to the Mighty Munich is a very respectable result and John will know it could have easily been a very different story. It now makes the final game of the season, very interesting one?
On a side note: Not happy that my keeper has went down in skill! Yes he has been capped but he has accumilated around 500abs so far this season. So to have 1 game where he recieves -5 abs and goes down in skill is stupid IMO

Nice to win against "New Santos" showed Tabata & Jensen what they are missing - especially after losing or drawing my 'winnable games' lately ...
But I always knew for 3/4 of the season was going to be a learning curve without Tabata - but there was always a plan and in about 4 or so games nearly all my midfield gain a skill level to put me where I want to be - the 'masterplan' took a hell of a knock where I failed in the cups against teams I should of beaten but that's now in the past but it has slowed my progression immensely ... But onto better things now and to cement my place as the 4th best team - slowly progressing as retirements kick in .... (and to hold off the up & coming teams)
