Well that's our season over. The week I choose to play C at home for the first time is also the week Tone tries E for only the second time. Tactical masterstroke or random chance I don't know. Not even sure why I played C now, maybe I thought Tone would pack the midfield so I wanted to play most of the game deeper. Should have stuck to what was working at home. But whatever, the tactical bonus seemed to be enough and United put in a very good performance. We will battle on in hope of 3rd place, but yet again we are massively underachieving and I have no idea why.
Bloody hell, Man City are only 2 points behind us.
Oh and a suspension means our top two defenders are both sidelined.

Season is only at the halfway stage mate, anything could happen, one or two inspired signings could change everything.
Ive just got a new 25 and 24 rated defender, they will replace a 22 and 21 rater, so will make a big jump defensively, hopefully that will shore us up a little.
Good win this week, wanted to make the most of my midfield, and did just that. Realistic aim is to finish in the top half.

i can see how some managers like starting in the lower leagues, very exciting league with a mix of teams building and finding there feet with some good active managers, also good to see no team filled with high skill loans from the top divisions which we have seen in the past!
the league is still very tight with loads to play for, and with longer seasons comes longer periods of suspension, we are starting to see players hitting 30 disciplinary points and being banned for 3 matches, so a mix of high aggression or bad luck could see teams loosing key players at crucial times,
just really thought Aberdeen would be the pace setters at this stage!!!

Yes mate we like starting in the lower leagues, it's staying there we're not so keen on!
Interesting about the suspensions, not sure I've seen 30 pts happen before. We will fall victim no doubt!
Newcastle have got two loans in and also two one-season wonders. So far it's paying off for them. But I have to say I'd expect them to come straight down again if they do go up - their 4 best players gone and only 20M in the bank to rebuild. But Tone is getting desperate for some silverware!

Yes, it can be enjoyable to have a good season but once you loose those loan players and if you cant replace them with even better players in a harder league then what is the point and next season wont be enjoyable being beaten most of the time! but if thats Newcastle's vision who are we to intervene

I'm glad to see my two loans at Atletico doing the business most weeks!
I must admit I was a little concerned about letting them both go there at the start of the season as I felt they would struggle as on paper they where one of the weakest teams in the league but their manager has got them playing well so it's worked out well so far.

My main defender J_Djourou managed to pick up 4 red cards last season so 10 games out through suspension in total.. we could be seeing a lot more of that kinda thing towards the end of this season : o
