Will we see a shock this midweek?
Aston Villa in the Semi Finals? you never know with T_Sorensen between the sticks! im sure James (Ajax) will be well aware this man could knock them out the cup, possibly in penalties
looking forward to Barcelona v Bayern Munich & FC Porto v Benfica

Well we come to a bit of a crossroads in our season.
This year I was focusing on cup competitions and getting as far as possible by entertaining and gaining abs. This has worked but now we find ourselves in the business end of the cups and surprisingly top of the league, how shall we continue?
Do we have a big enough squad to challenge on all 3 fronts, probably not and something will have to give. Whilst at the top of the league you can't let that go and the FA Cup is the one to win these days. So is this the cup we take our foot off the gas and hope to still progress, maybe so.
But as the holders we still don't want to give up our cup!!

Happy I'm not playing at home because my home form been rubbish, not going to take Villa lightly possable penalyies but i'll say 0-1 Ajax, Taliyah 34 min

Breaking news! RVN will start for Barca against Bayern.
The addition of RVN has put us in a great position to progress in the League Cup. We know that Bayern traditionally get one over us, but we're a different force now. Looking forward to this massive game!

Bloody hell, I've already faced him twice in the league, another 2 times at least to come.
It's funny as I'd just been looking at putting a deal for RVN together, although I'd have been no way near Barca.
Barca must now win silverware this year, even 1 cup could be seen as not enough now, pressure on them!!!
We for the first time ever in the game are not one of the big two.
Although I'm looking forward to being apart of the showdown and just maybe cause another upset.
Surely the paperwork for tonights game was never done in time

I had stalled with my RVN offer thinking Winzor would be keeping hold of him until after the cup game, seems an odd time to part company.
Could have left Bryn hanging for one more game ;-)

I think Winzor realised RVN wasn't enough to win, so has decided to focus on the future. It's a great deal for Porto to be fair, and I would have jumped on it had I been in his position too. Pressure is on to perform now, that's for sure
