Both games nicely poised for the 2nd leg. I guess PSG can afford to try and go defensive, but really both ties are still wide open.

Surprised to see Scott going all out defense. He should have a good possibility with home advantage for the return leg. PSG are looking good, but Atletico may surprise us all.

One of the dullest matches EFL has ever seen as City didn't try to take the game to Schalke, despite needing the win. The Germans did what they needed to do and claimed a place in the final. Meanwhile Madrid gave it their all but were outplayed by PSG who are the surprise package of the season. Schalke should be favourites in the final but PSG are more than capable of causing an upset.

Congratulations to Schalke and PSG on reaching the final, should be a close game but i think Schalke would have to be favourites! However wins though both teams look like they would be ready to compete in the 1st division next season.

Will be interesting to hear who sheeted for Man City whilst Scott was away.
I offered but had no response, whoever did didn't give them much of a chance and also didn't help gain valuable extra abs that these game provide.

Well done to Schalke and PSG, no shocks in any of the play offs.
Schalke favourites for sure but as their league games suggest, it could go down to away goals (if that's how they are decided).

The finals are only one leg, winner takes all so no away goals.

I sheeted for Scott, hoping to grab a draw or a narrow win/loss. I also aimed for a full strength attacking/passing squad for the home leg where the advantage is favourable.

I didn't do his return leg. I thought he was back for that! I only did his away tie. OK so you were conserving fitness for the home leg? Fair enough. But there seems to have been a communication breakdown. Anyway, Scott won't be unhappy with another season in Div 2 to build the squad.

Congrats to Schalke, a very good team and a worthy addition to the 1st division next season, looking quite competitive now, Rangers looking like a mid table team by comparison !
