Marseille 0 - 5 Real Madrid Rangers FC 0 - 0 Benfica Barcelona 1 - 1 Aberdeen Bayern Munich 2 - 0 Werder Bremen Another game where the ref takes centre stage. Sending off 3 and disallowing a good Messi goal. In the end a convincing win but for an hour it was in the balance. Harry's boys are never easy and set up to take a draw and bring it back to their place. Aberdeen very unlucky not take get the win against Barca and maybe their chance has gone? Madrid looking very impressive and will sure want to win this cup, having been shocked in the other. Rangers Benfica ended up in a deserved draw in a very even match. Which could still go either way in Portugal, although Benfica will fancy it.

Very close and even game, both teams had great chances, was hoping to get that stroke of luck and nick the odd goal, looks like a great chance missed, can't see Rangers doing so well away to Benfica, but we will give it a go.
Aberdeen likewise will be gutted they didn't get a result against giants Barca, huge flop for Marseille at home and Bayern plucking the result late on.
Once again Rangers holding their own and showing they can play at a decent level.

Another remarkable performance from our lads on the road. Good call from Bryn to play E, but an early red card made the home side nervous, and yet again the magic formula of 541C brought an early goal for the underdogs. I wasn't really too surprised that Barca equalised by half time, but we held our own well throughout the second half and could have snatched it late, on but hit the post.
So we fight yet another day. Obviously we'll need a bit of luck in the replay, but with home advantage, it could just happen.

Feared the worst when I seen Marseille line up 343 and that's what happened, fair play for going for it but Madrid too strong, really thought this could have been an upset

So 541C is a magic formula now? I must be the wizard then!

Looking forward to the return leg and hoping we won't pick up another red card or injury.
