At home to Feyenoord, on paper and on form I should take the points, but this division is too close to call, and anything can happen.
Couple of players suspended for Gers this week, but Feyenoord have a couple of fitness worries, so we both have team selection worries, a point this week isn't a disaster, but am hoping to get all three and continue the climb up the league.
Marseille v Aberdeen and Aston Villa v Schalke should be crackers, and a tussle at the bottom for my lad's Osasuna against Chris's Roma.

Well at least we have home advantage this week. Marseille are very strong on paper, we just have to remember that we've got results against Bayern and Barca this season, and hope that things come together for us on the day.
Villa-Schalke is obviously game of the week - with Valencia breathing down their necks.

Wise purchase by Villa, to possibly see this run in through, hats off to them on what has been an unbelievable season, only 3 league goals conceded, Aston Villa in the Elite League? Would this be the biggest shock ever? What would next season hold for them?

Similar shock level to Lyon? - back to back promotions. But they will lose 5 players at EOS, Sorensen's time will soon be up, along with others... it will be a great achievement for John to get to Elite, but I reckon that he will have to rebuild from the ground up in a couple of seasons, and may well be back in Div 2 soon. Unless he can prove a superb wheeler dealer and finance the club by developing players and selling them on.

Im always amazed when opposition teams allow transfers like Johns to occur.
You have a team like Marseille, desperate for success and with 130 odd mil sat there stagnating, and not only do they spend the money to improve their team and win, they allow the competition to do it.
Absolutely baffles me. All that matters in this game at a certain level is winning, yet some of these big clubs are reluctant to do what is required to achieve that.

Bring it on Chris! This week we are going to go for it and attack Roma who have a defender out. 4-3-3 attacking will make use of our strikers and take advantage of Roma.

I am surprised myself that no other team made an offer for this player, I made a few bids and to be honest was going to make another this morning, but missed the boat ! This guy was going to be used to give myself a better chance of getting to the cup final, he could have been used for teams challenging for titles and promotions, well worth 6-10m of someone's dosh Villa have just secured themselves the title in my eyes.

I should be happy as I have Ajax in the cup... surprised they let him go at weaken their chances of winning a cup slightly.

Yes, surprised that he only went for 6M, he could have been a real game changer for a Div 2 side.
