Aberdeen set up defensively and had the better game stat-wise. We were fortunate to grab a massive win for us after penalties. Rangers made it through too, but it lookes a lot more comfortable than it was. Two very late goals handed them the win. Unlucky Juve and Aberdeen and well done to Rangers.
Game ebbed back and forth, great cup tie, very unlucky Kaiser, still don't think you have beaten me, but that can change in the other cup final, two cup finals for Rangers, hoping we can take at least one win, been a good season for us.
Incidentally Rangers have never lost a cup final.
Set myself up for a major fall, hopefully not, Well done Bryn, look forward to our game, unlucky Malky.
Well done to all 4 teams for putting on two entertaining but very different ties. Superb rearguard action from Aberdeen after losing their keeper early, no shootout heroics for the standin though. Juve were blistering out of the blocks and later did well to pull it back to 2-2, but Rangers edged it.
Cheers Gazza, and well played. A bit of bad luck here, as the team was inputed straight after the league match, but i left the conditionals to do yesterday. Didn't finish yesterday until 7pm - Gutted, but at least it was a semi, and not a final. Basically glad i didn't T sheet. The game itself, as said ebbed and flowed, and was pretty tight for a while there. However the Rangers class up front told right at the end. A lot learned here, should be a different kettle of fish in the FA Cup final, where a tactical and selection change might get us closer to beating the Powerhouse team of Elite this season. Well done Bryn, and unlucky Malky - great run. So again, well played mate.
ianmcnamara: Can't believe we're in this posision with two games to go. We just silently crept up on Everton and capitalized. If I end up taking up a new challange at the end of the season leaving Schalk with a title win would be the perfect way to end my time there.
