Delighted with the start debut goal for Christie and Gerrard now stepping up.
Going to be a tough season ahead so need to be a bit more conservative this season I think.

Sao took their chances better than us, and their Goalie played twice as good as ours - simple as that really, like Houston says, going to be a tough season ahead for half the division, by the looks of things. Well played,

Tough start for all of the new boys. We gave a great account of ourselves, Morelos had plenty of chances to score, second goal was soft, we hit the post and had a goal disallowed that VAR might have ruled in. Great debut from Vardy, getting sent off in the last minute. Overall though, a positive start, just nothing to show for our labours.

Always good to start with a win at home, after going 2-0 up after only 14 mins I was a bit disappointed we didn't score any more goals though as we seemed to take our foot off the gas.

We're very pleased to get off to a winning start against one of the favourites. Nice to see 442A from both sides. We did just edge to the stats too and had a total of 13 shots on target to Rangers' 4. Perhaps Gazza's boys were a bit hungover from the Challenge Cup Final victory.

Well done Barca and Bryn, bold move playing attacking away from home and it paid off, I switched to passing against attack and should have came more into the game but truth be told we were second best, maybe a cup hangover yes, but take nothing away from Barca, great win and they will definitely be up there this season fighting for the title, despite how many times Bryn plays it down.
Celtic and Santos taking care of business, these teams are the powerhouses in the league, good wins.
Ajax picking all the points up, they know how to survive and are well managed, Sao Paulo also looking like they may have another fantastic season.
Good week one lads.
