Will have less value this time around, because teams are looking at their ageing squads and realizing there's no real quality coming through the ranks (not enough) and scouts are out pricing themselves. So youths will be priority.

Youths are always priority if you luck out and get some

Those that have them already are unlikely to let them go though

Best thing to do for sellers of retiring players is to list them up for auction and let the market decide what they're worth

I'm contemplating letting my keeper go to auction and playing a 33 rated next season to keep up his development

Think scouts are generally fine, I picked up a few scouts at the end of the season for 10-15m that I just have for resale value. 29 28 DF picked up for 15-20m that I can sell for 30m or use in a deal. Think we'll see a lot more 26-30 year olds flood the game and populate squads at 27/28 rated just as squad players. Ones that smaller clubs can develop and sell on in a few seasons when they're 31/31 30/29 etc and have bigger value to Elite sides.

I was a bit harsh on scouts at the start of the season due to pricing but it balances itself out at the end of the season for the players teams didn't pick up

Youths are always going to blow them out the water, but they should, as it's taking 3-5 seasons of development and a limited pool of youths to buy/develop. Less youth scouts coming into the game as there's first teamers being scouted and picked up/released.

Good dilemma for clubs to have, and I've had to make deals with clubs that took a gamble like Sunderland on paying for good youths that are going to be stars like Anderson who's only really ready for first team football (despite a year playing in the Elite last season) but I've sacrificed basically an Elite spot and 3 seasons to get him up to speed
