It depends on your wages and stadium income.
Marseille have a small ground of only 35000. Tickets are 32, so a full ground will give you 1,120,000. This would be the case for all home games (half of the league games and whatever cup games you get at home). For the last game of last season your wagebill was 940,391. This should drop a bit as you've dropped a division. Assuming these numbers were correct, you'd earn
1,120,000 * 7 = 7,840,000
while wages would be
940,391 * 14 = 13,165,474
This would leave you with -5,325,474 meaning you'd need 6 hometies in the cups to make it into profit.
I'd leave 3-5 mill in the bank.

cheers bryn was seeing how much i could spend on seat with what i have left Yeah, expanding your ground with whatever money you can is always a good way of generating income. Considering your first game is at home and you play every other game away, you'll have a steady income this season.

I like it Bryn! Now do mine lol
I would say to almost anyone it is wise to have between 3-5mil in there kitty at the start of each season.
It should also be worth thinking about your finances before you buy in higher rated players as well.

I would say dont even worry about it! Spend every penny you have, can always sell "rubbish" if the need arises, Inter were always borderline in debt, and Benfica will be too
